Talk title : « Time restricted feeding improves metabolic outcomes in mice with and without a phase delay in initiation »
Time restricted feeding (TRF, 10-hours from lights off) reduces body weight, improves glucose tolerance and insulin sensibility and prevent hepatic steatosis in mice fed high-fat diet. Delaying the initiation of TRF (4-hours, akin to breakfast skipping) reduced weight and fat mass losses, but did not significantly impact improvements that were observed in glucose metabolism.
