Area of expertise
The research bank ‘NuAge Database and Biobank’ is a public research platform hosted at the Research Center on Aging (CIUSSS Estrie-CHUS, Sherbrooke) and at the CHUM Research Center (Montreal). The objective of creating, maintaining and enriching this platform is to share data and biological samples from 1753 Quebec aging adults (men and women of 67-84 years old) followed annually for 3 years (2003-2008) and re-evaluated in 2010 and 2014-2017. The NuAge Database and Biobank mission is to better characterize the heterogeneity of aging trajectories and their determinants, including nutritional factors, with the aim to improve the overall health and quality of life of seniors.
Services offered
